I'm involved in lots of fun Earth Day events this year. This post is shameless self-promotion to tell you all about it.Monday, April 19th
6-9pm
Old Oak Restaurant
Danbury, CT
Earth Day Dinner by Chef Michael Bick of Somethings Fishy Catering in Bethel, CT. The hubby and I were going to attend because one look at the menu made us hungry! Then, Chef Bick asked if we would speak for a couple of minutes about the things we do in helping to promote local, organic and sustainable food. Needless to say I am honored! This 2nd annual event is a way to celebrate Chef Bick's commitment to local, organic, sustainable and delicious food. It's a way for guests to connect with their food, its source, and the traditions associated with it. Local farmer John Holbrook of Holbrook Farm is the featured speaker.
